Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is rolling out integrated performance that enables users to generate landing reports.
Used to identify the efficiency of landing pages, these reports gather data about visits to a website, enabling web designers to test and enhance their landing pages.
Formally released in mid-October 2020, GA4 is the replacement for Universal Analytics (UA), which is being sunsetted in July 2023.
Prior to this upgrade, which is being presented to users slowly, landing page reports had to be manually constructed. This was an unintuitive procedure, which required several clicks.
Landing Page Reports Available in Dashboard
You can discover the landing page report in the Engagement section of the left navigation in your GA4 dashboard.
The default, automated report includes metrics for Views, New Users, Typical Engagement Time per Session, Conversions, and Total Earnings. However, these fields can be changed and tailored to each webmaster’s specific requirements.
Creating custom-made reports is a simple process:
- Click the “Custom Report” icon in the upper right corner.
- Click “Metrics” and include or eliminate the ones you desire in your report.
- Hit “Apply” and create your report.
GA4 Provides More Performance Than Past Platform
